CASE 15
Angel Veneer
BEFORE
AFTER
- Treatment
- We performed Angel Veneer, which bonds an ultra-thin ceramic shell directly onto the tooth surface with a dedicated adhesive, without cutting the tooth at all. Because no tooth is cut, no anesthetic is needed, and there is almost no pain. It added a natural, translucent whiteness, giving the mouth a beautiful look that brightens the impression of the whole face.
- Treatment time and number of visits
- Duration: approx. 2 weeks – 1 month Visits: 2–3 (impression → placement)
- Cost
- ¥132,000 (tax included) per tooth × 16 teeth Total ¥2,112,000 (tax included)
- Risks and side effects
- Because the ceramic is bonded directly onto the tooth, the tooth becomes a little thicker than before (you may notice some discomfort until you get used to it). Because the material is very thin, it may crack or come off if very strong force is applied. Depending on the bite, this treatment may not be suitable.
CASE 14
Airflow
BEFORE
AFTER
- Treatment
- We cleaned the tooth surfaces with Airflow, spraying a fine powder, water, and air. Rather than scraping the surface with metal instruments, a dedicated powder removes stains and biofilm. Along with the staining stuck to the back of the teeth and between them, this also removes biofilm, the bacterial film that causes cavities and periodontal disease, restoring the teeth's natural whiteness and smooth surface.
- Treatment time and number of visits
- Duration: 1 day Visits: 1 (approx. 30–60 minutes) *As regular maintenance, we recommend a visit once every few months.
- Cost
- Approx. ¥3,300–¥11,000 per session
- Risks and side effects
- Because the powder is sprayed with force, patients with sensitive teeth or gum inflammation may feel temporary prickling or stinging. Also, right after the procedure the pellicle, the film that protects the tooth surface, is removed, which makes the teeth more prone to staining, so for 2–3 hours after treatment you need to avoid dark-colored food and drink (coffee, tea, curry, red wine, etc.) and smoking.
CASE 13
Angel Veneer
BEFORE
AFTER
- Treatment
- We carried out Angel Veneer, removing a thin layer from the tooth surface (about 0.1–0.5mm) and bonding on a thin ceramic shell, like a false nail, on top. No anesthetic is needed and there is almost no pain. For this case we chose the whiter, more translucent Super White shade, brightening and lifting the whole look of the mouth at once.
- Treatment time and number of visits
- Duration: approx. 2 weeks – 1 month Visits: 2–3 (impression → placement) *Unlike orthodontic treatment, which can take years, this gives you your ideal tooth alignment and color in a short time.
- Cost
- ¥110,000–¥165,000 (tax included) per tooth (*varies with the number of teeth and the grade of material)
- Risks and side effects
- Because the ceramic is bonded onto the tooth, the tooth becomes a little thicker than before (you may notice some discomfort until you get used to it). Because the ceramic used is very thin, it may crack or come off if very strong force is applied. Depending on the bite, this treatment may not be suitable.

CASE 11
Invisalign
BEFORE
AFTER
- Treatment
- We used full-arch treatment (the Comprehensive plan) with the clear aligner appliance Invisalign. Working from the back teeth forward, we performed lateral expansion to widen the dental arch, creating space to align the teeth without extraction. We untangled the teeth that overlapped in a complicated way, moving them one by one into place, forming a functional and beautiful U-shaped arch.
- Treatment time and number of visits
- Duration: approx. 2–2.5 years Visits: once every 1.5–2 months
- Cost
- Total ¥880,000–¥1,045,000 (tax included) (breakdown: Invisalign Comprehensive package) *Because the case included high-difficulty recovery treatment, it is billed under the full-arch orthodontic treatment plan.
- Risks and side effects
- When moving teeth that overlap, gum recession or a “black triangle” (a gap between teeth) may occur. Because treatment takes place over a long period, staying motivated and strictly keeping to the required wear time (at least 20 hours a day) are key to success.
CASE 10
Invisalign
BEFORE
AFTER
- Treatment
- We carried out full-arch treatment using Invisalign, a clear, removable orthodontic appliance. Based on a simulation from the 3D scanner iTero, we moved the teeth little by little by exchanging a series of aligners, straightening the dental arch without extraction. *To create space for aligning the teeth, we performed IPR, a procedure that removes a very small amount of enamel from the sides of the teeth.
- Treatment time and number of visits
- Visits: once every 1.5–3 months (follow-up and handing over aligners)
- Cost
- Total ¥880,000 (tax included) (breakdown: Invisalign Standard package). *A retainer fee may be charged separately.
- Risks and side effects
- If the aligner is not worn for at least 20 hours a day, the teeth may not move as planned and the treatment period may run longer. Right after starting treatment, or when switching to a new aligner, you may feel a tightening pain or discomfort in your teeth. After treatment, wearing a retainer is required to prevent the teeth from shifting back.
CASE 09
Clear aligner treatment
BEFORE
AFTER
- Treatment
- We carried out full-arch orthodontic treatment with Invisalign. Using the properties of the aligner, we intruded the front teeth (moving them further into the bone) while bringing the bite height to a proper level. Correcting the deep bite reduced the load on the jaw joint and helped shape a beautiful E-line (facial profile).
- Treatment time and number of visits
- Duration: approx. 2–3 years. Visits: once every 1.5–3 months
- Cost
- Total ¥1,012,000 (tax included) (breakdown: Invisalign Premium package). *This is a full-arch orthodontic plan of high difficulty, including correction of bite function.
- Risks and side effects
- Root resorption (where the tooth root becomes shorter) may occur. Because the bite changes, you may feel temporary jaw fatigue or discomfort during treatment. As this is a difficult case, the treatment period may run longer than usual.
CASE 08
Clear aligner treatment
BEFORE
AFTER
- Treatment
- We carried out orthodontic treatment using Invisalign, a clear, removable aligner appliance. Based on a 3D simulation (ClinCheck), we moved the teeth according to the treatment plan while exchanging aligners in stages. *Rather than extraction, we created space with IPR, a procedure that removes a very small amount of enamel from the tooth surface, and aligned the teeth that way.
- Treatment time and number of visits
- Approx. 1–2 years. Visits: once every 1.5–3 months (follow-up and handing over aligners)
- Cost
- Total ¥880,000 (tax included) (breakdown: Invisalign Standard package). *This package plan has no limit on the number of aligners until treatment is complete.
- Risks and side effects
- If you do not keep to the required wear time (at least 20 hours a day), the teeth will not move as planned. You may feel a tightening pain right after starting treatment or when switching to a new aligner. After treatment ends, there is a risk of the teeth shifting back if you do not use a retainer.
CASE 07
Angel Veneer
BEFORE
AFTER
- Treatment
- For the 6 upper front teeth, we removed a thin layer from the tooth surface (about 0.3–0.5mm) and bonded on thin ceramic shells, laminate veneers, like false nails. We bonded ceramic designed by checking the tooth shape and shade on a model, adjusting the appearance of the front teeth.
- Treatment time and number of visits
- Approx. 1–1.5 months. Visits: 3–4 (counseling; preparation and impression; try-in and placement)
- Cost
- ¥113,300 (tax included) and up per tooth (*reference: priced under the e-max ceramic menu). *Because this case treated the 6 upper front teeth, the total comes to approx. ¥679,800 (tax included) and up.
- Risks and side effects
- A layer of the healthy tooth surface needs to be shaved off. Because the ceramic used is very thin, if you bite down hard on hard foods with your front teeth or have a habit of grinding your teeth, it may chip or come off. Temporary sensitivity (a stinging feeling) may occur right after treatment.
CASE 06
Dental implants
BEFORE
AFTER
- Treatment
- We carried out surgery to place a titanium artificial tooth root (an implant fixture) into the jawbone where the tooth had been lost. Once a solid bond had formed between the bone and the implant, we attached a ceramic artificial tooth on top, restoring a bite feel and appearance the same as the patient's natural teeth. *This treatment protects the surrounding healthy teeth, since it does not place any load on them.
- Treatment time and number of visits
- Treatment period: approx. 3–6 months (including the healing period while waiting for the bone to fuse with the implant). Visits: about 6–10
- Cost
- ¥440,000 (tax included) and up (breakdown: implant placement surgery, first stage, ¥220,000 + crown and second-stage surgery ¥220,000). *This is a guide price when using an Osstem implant. *If bone grafting (GBR) is needed, there is an additional charge.
- Risks and side effects
- Because this involves surgery, pain, swelling, bleeding or bruising can occur afterward. If daily care and regular maintenance are neglected, it can lead to peri-implantitis, a condition similar to periodontal disease, with a risk of the implant coming out.
