Treatment policy

Treatment that, wherever possible, minimizes pain, preserves teeth, and avoids extraction

For those who put off visiting the dentist out of fear of pain

Cavities and periodontal disease can cause pain on their own, but most of the pain felt during treatment is concentrated in that one moment when the anesthetic is injected. Put another way, once the anesthetic has properly taken effect, pain during treatment can almost always be kept under control.

That is why we do everything we can think of: managing the temperature of the anesthetic solution, using ultra-fine needles, and applying a topical anesthetic to ease the sting. We work to make treatment as pain-free as possible, so that even patients who feel anxious about visiting the dentist can relax.

Have you ever had a tooth ground down suddenly, without any explanation?

A tooth that has been ground down or extracted can never be restored to its original state. And yet, cases where treatment proceeds before the patient has understood and agreed to it, leaving them with regret afterward, remain all too common.

Our clinic treats “prevention” as the foundation of all treatment, to help you keep your own precious teeth for as long as possible. Even when treatment is unavoidable, we take the time to explain your current oral condition and the treatment options available during a consultation beforehand. We will never begin treatment without your genuine understanding and consent.
