Treatment

For the 6 upper front teeth, we removed a thin layer from the tooth surface (about 0.3–0.5mm) and bonded on thin ceramic shells, laminate veneers, like false nails. We bonded ceramic designed by checking the tooth shape and shade on a model, adjusting the appearance of the front teeth.

Treatment time and number of visits

Approx. 1–1.5 months. Visits: 3–4 (counseling; preparation and impression; try-in and placement)

Cost

¥113,300 (tax included) and up per tooth (*reference: priced under the e-max ceramic menu). *Because this case treated the 6 upper front teeth, the total comes to approx. ¥679,800 (tax included) and up.

Risks and side effects

A layer of the healthy tooth surface needs to be shaved off. Because the ceramic used is very thin, if you bite down hard on hard foods with your front teeth or have a habit of grinding your teeth, it may chip or come off. Temporary sensitivity (a stinging feeling) may occur right after treatment.
