Treatment

We removed a thin layer from the tooth surface (about 0.3–0.5mm) and bonded on a thin ceramic shell, a laminate veneer. We designed each veneer while checking the tooth shade and shape, adjusting the appearance of the front teeth.

Treatment time and number of visits

Approx. 1 month, 2–3 visits (impression → placement)

Cost

¥113,300 (tax included) and up per tooth (*reference: priced under the e-max ceramic menu). *The cost varies with the number of teeth treated and the material used (zirconia, etc.).

Risks and side effects

A thin layer of the healthy tooth surface needs to be removed. If strong force is applied through the bite or teeth grinding, the veneer may crack or come off. Temporary sensitivity may occur after treatment.
